About Prisma Electronics
Prisma Electronics is a Greek high-technology company headquartered in Alexandroupolis, Northern Greece. Founded in 1991, it has developed a strong international presence, delivering advanced technological solutions for highly demanding sectors such as defense, maritime, space, cybersecurity, industry, and culture.
Through its R&D division, Prisma Electronics designs, develops, and manufactures integrated electronic systems, wireless technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and cybersecurity solutions.
In the defense sector, Prisma Electronics has participated in projects of the European Defence Fund (EDF) as well as in the PESCO – European Patrol Corvette (EPC) program, contributing to the development of advanced data-driven situational awareness and decision-support systems. At the same time, it collaborates with Naval Group on the FDI frigates program, providing advanced electronic solutions for modern naval platforms.
In the maritime sector, Prisma Electronics developed LAROS, an advanced real-time ship performance monitoring and analytics system. LAROS enables continuous data collection, diagnostics, prediction, and early warning, supporting fleet efficiency optimization, safety, and the reduction of environmental footprint.
In the space sector, Prisma Electronics achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Greek company to successfully launch a nanosatellite into orbit. MICE-1, designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in-house, was launched on November 28, 2025, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, as part of the Transporter-15 mission, from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
Beyond its own mission, Prisma Electronics has participated in major European space programs, such as the Solar Orbiter mission, as a subcontractor to AIRBUS Defence and Space (United Kingdom), supplying high-reliability cabling and Electrical Ground Support Equipment. These activities are supported by specialized facilities in Alexandroupolis, including a Class 10,000 (ISO 7) Clean Room and a Thermal Vacuum Chamber.
In the field of cybersecurity, Prisma Electronics developed Cyber Hub - NIS2, a comprehensive platform that goes beyond regulatory compliance by offering continuous monitoring, real-time analysis, and intelligent alert management, enhancing the resilience of critical organizations. At the same time, PrismaSense technology enables wireless, low-power monitoring of critical infrastructure across industrial facilities, agriculture, dams, military installations, and natural ecosystems.
In the cultural sector, Prisma Electronics developed Xenagos, a personalized digital tour platform used by more than thirty organizations in Greece and internationally.
The international recognition of Prisma Electronics includes the CERN Gold Industry Award, reflecting the company’s commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation.
